In case you missed it...or all of it

Big week in reality TV.

Melissa McGhee was the first top 12 contestant to get voted off of "American Idol." She really wasn't all that bad, but if you can't remember your lyrics this early in the competition that's a pretty good indicator you might not be cut out for this type of industry.

Kina had a mental breakdown on "Gauntlet 2" and was a total animal when she got into the gauntlet. Poor unsuspecting Jillian is a small girl but a solid member of the rookies team so she was less than thrilled at Kina's choice to duel her. If you ask me, Ibis was the better choice because she's messed up a lot on the show. MJ apparently felt the same way, which he openly expressed when he said he'd be upset if Ibis was the reason he didn't win the ultimate prize.

Tuesday was the third episode of "8th & Ocean" and definitely the best so far. Vinci is such a jerk! He blew off his modeling appointments, hung up on his agent and was completely rude at his meeting with the company's president. I can't wait for that guy to get knocked off his high horse. Other than that the episode was pretty uneventful. Britt did her first sexy, high fashion photo shoot and the pictures came out really cute.

The "Real World" did not disappoint and Svetlana pulled out an amazing performance as Tyler basically told her she was annoying. I can't say I disagree, but I felt a twinge of sympathy towards Svetty when she was crying in the closet. A bit dramatic? Yes, but Tyler and Janelle were ganging up on her. Hopefully it'll be a wake up call and she's stop being such a whiney brat. If not there will definitely be some more episodes focused on everyone hating her.

Oh...and Paula is still anorexic and still crying every episode.

I caught "America's Next Top Model" this week even though I had missed the premiere last week and I have to say that I love that show. In Wednesday's episode the girls were literally ice princesses but that southern chick Katharine didn't have what it took. I know it's early in the competition to be picking favorites, but I'm going to go out on a limb and say Sara might take the whole thing. It's crazy too because she was discovered by ANTM scouts in a mall without expressing any interest in going on the show.

So there it is. An ENTIRE weeks worth of reality TV. Now if you don't mind it's St. Patty's Day and it's time to celebrate. You know what they say, everyone's Irish on St. Patrick's Day!!
...except that doesn't really apply here because I really am Irish...but you get the picture. Happy celebrating! :)
